KIM KEELEY
CANDIDATE FOR County Commissioner DISTRICT 1
www.kimforcommissioner.com

Picture
Since 2018, Kim has served as Teton County’s elected Clerk. In that role, she has worked across all areas of county government, administering elections, maintaining public records, overseeing court operations and managing key financial functions including budgets and payroll. Her position requires collaboration with every department and a detailed understanding of how county government operates day to day.

Kim has also been active within the community, volunteering with many organizations including Friends of the Teton River and the Teton Valley Foundation. Outside of work, Kim continues to enjoy everything that makes Teton Valley special—hiking, fishing, hunting, and skiing, often alongside her three bird dogs.

Kim understands Teton County is growing, but the things that make this place special aren’t unlimited. Our public lands, natural resources, and open spaces define our community, and they deserve thoughtful stewardship. Kim is running for County Commissioner to help protect what makes Teton County unique, and to make sure we are making fiscally sound decisions as we grow. Kim believes we can’t ignore growth, but we also can’t ignore our limits.

She's running to bring a practical, steady approach to these challenges:
  • Protect what makes Teton County special
  • Make decisions grounded in real numbers
  • Plan for the long term—not just the next project

DAN POWERS
County Commissioner DISTRICT 2 - RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION
www.danfortetonid.com

Picture
Dan moved to Jackson Hole in 1984, ostensibly to take a winter break from a career path in science, and never really left. After a few years working in the restaurant world, he took a job on a residential construction crew in Jackson. After 5 years or so he decided to make that a more permanent move, and began his own construction business in Teton Valley, Powers Builders Inc. He continued with this business until 2025.

Dan moved to Driggs in 1990, buying an old house on Wallace Ave. He built a spec house on Easy Street in Driggs in 1999, and sold that to his now wife, Lynne Wolfe. They still live in that house. He has been involved with several non-profits and has been an active volunteer on trail maintenance and building projects through TVTAP, the USFS, and Mountain Bike the Tetons.  Improving our trail networks is another legacy of which he is proud.

Dan's first real political involvement was with the Driggs Planning and Zoning Commission, to which he was appointed in the late 90s. Around 2006 he was appointed to a vacant City Council seat, serving for about 2 years. Following that he ran for and was elected Mayor of Driggs in 2009 and served in that capacity for a 4-year term. Following that he chaired the Driggs Urban Renewal Board for 4 years.

Dan thought he was done with politics, but when the opportunity to apply for the County Commission seat vacated by Mike Whitfield arose, he decided to take on the challenge. He was nominated by the Teton County Democratic Party and then appointed by Governor Little. He has been serving as a County Commissioner since April of 2025. In that capacity he has served on boards such as Eastern Idaho Public Health, Teton Basin Water Users and the Driggs Urban Renewal Board. Dan has also been active working with local non-profits and youth on improving the county's juvenile ordinances. Serving as a County Commissioner has been a great honor, and Dan hopes to be elected this fall to continue the work.

BEVIN TAYLOR
CANDIDATE FOR COUNTY CLERK
www.bevintaylorforclerk.com

Picture
Bevin Taylor served the Teton Regional Economic Coalition as Program Manager throughout 2022 and 2023. In this capacity, Bevin was responsible for supporting economic development adopted by the Teton County Economic Development Plan, which aims to support existing local businesses, start-ups and prospective businesses resulting in job creation, higher wages, commitment to sustainability and conservation. Bevin also managed the Idaho Tourism Commerce (ITC) grant, Teton Valley's largest state funding source, which provides funding for local nonprofit events. Additionally, she handled the marketing and management of The Geo Center and its educational programs, while identifying and securing additional grant funding and sponsorships for TREC, the Chamber of Commerce and The Geo.

A resident of Driggs, Bevin relocated to Teton Valley from the Washington, DC area. There she was Regional Director of Hope for the Warriors®, a national nonprofit serving wounded service members and their families. In that role, she lobbied for fiscal support and the long-term needs of injured service members and their families. Bevin also managed various major fundraising initiatives including the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), and organized the inaugural Got Heart, Give Hope® gala, now in its 14th year. She actively sought to bring greater credibility and national visibility to the former grassroots organization, by earning the “Best in America” designation by the Independent Charities of America, as well as accreditation by the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance.

Bevin earned her BA in Business Administration from the University of North Florida and her MBA in International Business from the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom. Prior to her involvement with TREC, Taylor worked in various capacities for the Teton School District 401 and the private education sector. Taylor lives with her husband and two daughters in Driggs and enjoys all of the outdoor activities and natural landscapes that Teton Valley offers. They can often be found in Teton Canyon, hiking with their overzealous golden retriever.
